I, even though a non-smoker, was undecided on the smoking ban until recently

The incident that changed my mind was a trip to one of the casinos in Glasgow. I watched some ignoramus smoking a large cigar at the blackjack table puffing smoke right into the face of a heavily pregnant dealer who had to indure a smoke whether she & her baby wanted one or not

Why should someone have to smoke passively just because his or her job is in a 'social' enviroment ? Even more so if it involves a individual who is pregnant

I think the smoking ban is the best thing since 1966. :D
