is that it...........pathetic
lets put some perspective on youre attitudes.
tell me alan why was i booted and not youre cohort mr t (then moderator)
after all you readily admit that he was as much if not more to blame than me as he had a responsability as moderator and should not have abused his position.
i think we all know the answer.
you demonstrate it on a daily basis.

ah thats it.........my way or the highway

How many times do you actually need something explained to you before it penetrates your skull?
You were booted for your insults and childish behaviour, as was MrT at the same time (I still have the posts on file) MrT accepted his part in it and gave assurances which were accepted; you, on the other hand did not, and to this day, you seem to think you are some superior being who does not not need to behave responsibly.
The bias is in your imagination, nowhere else.

Alan G

actually alan i never mentioned bias! that must be youre consionce bothering you.
as for me believing im a superior being? to what you! yes i probably am
but not in the sense that you think.
so tell me alan, what did i do, ill tell you what i did, i didnt give you the respect that you clearly think is befitting a being of youre omnipotence.
should i have appologised! for what , youre moderator, altering my post.
thatl be right
being a member of youre site was hardly worth throwing my principals out of the window for, is it.
i was right then and im right now.
now as then you wanted everyone to know that you were in charge.
youre a stupid wee auld man alan.
youre site is thier only for the sycofants of the trade.
have a word with youreself

These operators invested in me and I return that investment. If thats what you class as a company man . Then I am guilty.
Here's my full name Ross Brydon, so you can ask around, or ask the cab office if I own a plate past or present.

Ross

cough..splutter..cough sorry somit got stuck in my throat thier.
right ross....mmm where do i start..thier is so much that i detest in what you say.

tell me what have these operators invested in you?
and what have you invested in them ?
its nice to see that you consider youreself just a driver
and you see owners as somehow elevated above the ranks of mere driver
tell me whats the differance between a guy who owns and a guy who doesnt ?
contrary to poular belief i dont care who you are ross, it is nice to see guys coming out so to speak, but if i were you and had such a lowly opinion of myself(my god man youll be saying "massa is good to ross he only wap me once a week" next) id want to keep my anonimity.

Speaking for myself, my rental hasn't gone up for 2 years. As for loads of drivers wanting rides, not true. Shifts are not being covered.

As for JD's little jibe, it merely shows his ignorance. I use one nick on TDO and I use the same one on Fasties in addition to the Admin (like dusty does on here, allegedly)
This is just another of his wildly inaccurate observations.

I have to inform you that it is illegal to link to this site or any other site without permission. I know you didn't know that when you posted a link to the Salteri document on this site but stealing TDO bandwidth or any other sites bandwidth for that matter is an offence. TDO pays for its bandwidth it does not get it free, you would do well to remember that.

JD

Perhaps you should advise the owners and operators of this site of that fact.
Additionally, perhaps you are unaware that one of the administrators of this site has actually thanked me for linking to his site and I quote "But thanks for the free publicity - nothing like a few reciprocal links." (This quote from Dusty!!!)

Alan G (Maybe I can use that as a "get out of jail free" card - unless you think you have a monopoly on legal matters!! :P :P )

Look up my Friend! I said "without permission"and I know full well what dusty said and he didn't give you permision to link to the Salteri file. DID HE??????

In fact no one gave you permission. So read the post as it is written and not how you would prefer it to be written?

I am on my own side.

Well if you take that point of view you can't really criticise anyone else for having the same outlook on life as yourself albeit as an opposing viewpoint? Can you?

"Your side", as you put it, might be convenient for you but not so convenient for others but regardless of that, it would appear you think your view is correct and others can go fly a kite?

I'm sorry to say this to you but the problem with people like you is that you have no problem understanding right from wrong, you just don't have the humility to admit it?

I suspect in this instance the reason why you won't proportion right from wrong is because it doesn't suit your purpose. There is a name for this, which I am sure you are aware, they call it "self denial" and I'm afraid your self-serving ideology is probably hostage to your vested interest of exclusion.

That was mentioned last night but as far as I am aware that is the case already but under incorporation they trade the company as opposed to the plate.

Also a reliable source reckons the council are less than happy with the way these renegade sheriffs have handled these cases and are contemplating going to a higher court.

Ace if they do Laughing

These boys will need deep pockets for that gig Laughing Laughing Laughing Laughing Laughing Laughing Laughing Laughing Laughing

There's only one Renegade Sheriff and there's only one avenue the council can go down and I wish they would because they haven't got a cat in hells chance of reversing this decision.

The problem the council have is that this decision opens up a whole new ball game with regard to one particular applicant. This judgment is water tight and in fact the Sheriff Principal afforded CEC every opportunity of stating their case again because he actully said he was hearing the case anew, so there is nothing CEC can do about it.

Section 3.1 is unambigous and CEC manifestly failed their statutory duty in carrying out the mandatory requirements in that section.

Mr. Welkentface aka Mr Gladstone is obviously a fool. Leave him to his ramblings.

Just one point, wherever CEC go I shall be waiting for them.

JD

Exactly how many links on this site were put there with permission.

You know as well as I do that links for other sites exist all over the internet with most being there "without permission."

The point you are ignoring (deliberately or otherwise) about this permission business is that you only steal bandwidth if you use a file on one site as an integral part of another "without permission." You are not stealing bandwidth if you refer to a file on another.

There is no copyright policy statement on this website that I could find, despite checking through all its "public places!!"

Is this your latest tactic? I seem to recollect your earlier claims that I was someone else. I have stated publicly that I use one nick "Alan G" here and no other.
I make no attempt to hide my identity, unlike you. So once again you are wrong.

I'm loath to start another thread about Edinburgh but maybe this one is warranted?

On Saturday it was conveyed to us that the City of Edinburgh Council had lost its appeal against three applicants who applied for Taxi Operator licenses in the City of Edinburgh.

I can today confirm that the information which we received on Saturday was accurate and the City of Edinburgh have indeed lost their appeal as was expected by and indeed forecast by this site and many people involved in the Edinburgh Taxi trade.

I would like to congratulate the three applicants and all those who stuck by their opinions that they were right in legality of their applications and that Edinburgh Council were completely wrong in theirs.

There are still applications that are being appealed by CEC but this verdict has dealt a severe blow to the aspirations of any outstanding appeal being successful.

CEC should now consider dropping these appeals and spare the local council tax payers the expense of further litigation.

Once again I raise my hat to all those who have stood by their convictions and seen this ordeal right through to the bitter end even though I know it has cost many great financial cost.

It just proves what an erroneous verdict Sheriff Mackie handed down in the case of 3maxblack. It also proves that the critical expose I wrote of her verdict back in June was highly accurate.

The Sheriff principals case report will follow shortly, unless someone beats me to it?

Regards

JD

Bet you wish you had not kicked it off, don't you?

I know I do!

The “renegade Sheriffs” there appears to be no limit to their stupidity. You would have to be a complete asshole to come up with this gem.
