CCTV ! Why ? Having problems already ? I though you where untouchable.
Mr Thomson has led you a merry dance, no taxi to get damaged, house out in the sticks.
Your the easy target Mr Turnbull, and after the kind words you've said to me, I have no sympathy.

I can't believe that you would be stupid enough not to think there would be no repercussions for your actions.

do you have a problem with me asking ?
its just that you certainly dont sound like a guy who has no investment in the "trade"
are you sure youre telling the truth, no problem ross, just a question.

i for one dont believe you, sorry thats just my opinion, come on ross youre obviosly a company man
but i could of course be mistaken.
and you may well be an ill informed driver, i dont know perhaps you are under peer pressure from other company men.
perhaps you live in fear of loosing youre job, and wish to stick close to those who employ you.
but i doubt that this is true, i think you are an owner and the worst sort at that, an owner and a company man.
if thats true than you have my pity .

I am a SELF EMPLOYEDtaxi driver Who has worked with some of the best operators in the trade. Operators who never forgot that they where just drivers at one time. Maybe I'am just lucky.
These operators invested in me and I return that investment. If thats what you class as a company man . Then I am guilty.
Here's my full name Ross Brydon, so you can ask around, or ask the cab office if I own a plate past or present.

Ross
cctv
becouse i live in niddrie and taxi as we all know have always been a target for stone throwing etc. i like to know who house to send the bill yo if possible.
i have often wondered why people see hate taxi drivers, that is until i came accross spineless arogant pricks like you.

i am not angry ross, i suggest you rexamine what confucius meant and who it was dirrected at, you and rcf are the ones that are not thinking of the concequences of youre anger, but you may continue anyway

untouchable is anyone ?
have i been touched ? no and it wont be by any prat of a taxi driver will it ?

and ross the divide and conquor routine would never work with me,especially when done whith all the finesse of an elphant in a china shop. and it has nothing to do with loyalty, it does have everything to do with honor and a healthy respect for the truth.
something that you obviosly dont understand.

BEWARE THE IDES OF MARCH, "Ay, Caesar, but not gone."

Ross

I suggest it is Edinburgh City Council who have been struck by the Ides of March, in the shape of Sheriff Principal Bowen?

He set a [edited by admin] trap, executed with masterful precision.

First: He read the script!
Second: He reached a conclusion!
Third: He devised a plan that would disable any chance the victim had of winning an appeal!
Fourth: He executed the plan to perfection.

Masterful and I bet you guys can't even see the relevance in every word he spoke and why he said it?

It is no wonder CEC are prevaricating on an appeal.

The Ides of March have certainly left their mark on Edinburgh City Council and no doubt, U2!

Options for CEC:

Phase one complete, checkmate in three moves.

In order to waist time they can appeal. However in order to appeal they need grounds to appeal? Considering Bowen stitched them up like a kipper, any grounds they might invent will most certainly be frivolous.

The likely outcome is that licenses will be issued and the M&V appeal dropped.

They may also drop Ali T's appeal but I wouldn't count on that.

Phase two: 3maxblack go to judicial review and challenge both the erroneous Mackie decision, and the decision of the committee who based their decision on a flawed survey.

The rest is left open to your imagination.

Regards

JD

Well worth remembering. We're running a book. IF Salteri or anyone else puts on a taxi with one of these ill-gotten plates, how long before it sustains serious damage? Favorite at the moment is within 7 days. what do you think Ali?
I do not condone this sort of attack, nor do I support it, but one hears the talk and one ignores it at one's peril.

thanks for the help.
i have found out that the licence is £700 for a years licence renewable.
which seems a bit expensive to me.
they also said that it was non refundable ?
that doesnt seem right to me.
and that it was unlikely to be granted, as there are no licences left ?
can anyone clarify what the situation is, is i cannot make sense and cannot understand what gives in the taxi trade.

youres
confused edinburgh lad

I think that Mr Turnbull already knows where I live, and he's welcome to knock on my door anytime.
He can bring the skull along the more the merrier. I ask only one thing, leave the insults at home.
