Ive just passed it , im made up. (liverpool city council)

How long did it take you to pass yours ?

Do you think ph drivers should take the test ?

only if they allowed to ply for hire on street, sit on raqnks etc, already too much nonsense in this, customers would rather it was level playing field.

I think there should be some degree of test for ph drivers, but not as much as if you were to go on the hacks.

I agree i think ph should sit some sort of test not as deep as the knowledge but it would give the passengers some comfort to no they will arrive via the shortest route. :-o

IN WARRINGTON WE HAVE TO SIT A KNOWLEDGE TEST AND WE ARE PH DRIVERS

TOOK ME 4 ATTEMPTS BUT GOT THERE IN THE END

Yes I do. I have never thought it was asking too much for a licensed driver to have a pretty good idea where he is going. Especially those PH who have meters in.

As for those PH without meters, then maybe a smaller knowledge based around their office location could be a half way point. :-k

As skodaman said we have the same test as hac's and it's right that we should.
Once in your car your on your own,punters want to get there as quick/shortest rout as hac's.
That said a lot of the hac's in warrington haven't a clue where lot's of places are with picking up punters and only taking them one way, most direct the driver, where as PH pick up from the address without the punters guidance.
