where do i stand here ?

doing 46mph in a 30 zone...car was 7 series bmw, black unmarked sitting at side of road. £60 fine + 3 fecking points...have i got em for 3 or 5 yrs ?

i thought ALL traffic cops with radar guns HAD to be visable with there yellow jackets on while doing speed traps ? :?
anyone ???

and to top that......

£30 for not having my belt on.....just dropped of passenger 400yds along road....
and..................
he was gonna do me for NOT wearing my p/h badge  most of the drivers down here all have em on there dash....i know...you should be wearing them  but FFS !
that was gonna be a another £30 but he let me off !! very fecking kind.

when i protested about the whole thing...he said....

ok then...i,ll send this to the fiscal....and the licence board ....and....at that point a shut up  i know when i am beat .

and the t*** had the cheek to say when i left.....

DONT LET THIS SPOIL YOUR NITE SIR W.T.F.
goes off muttering under my breath.....

i take it that will fire up my insurance ? already have 3 points from 2 yr ago for 42mph in 30 zone !!! ah the joys

So, you are complaining about being done for speeding, not wearing your seatbelt and not wearing your badge?

The answer? Slow down, put your badge and belt on, end of problem, apart from the insurance hike...

Never happens in a Metrocab, radar bounces off the plastic shell like a stealth bomber...

And if you can't do the time, don't do the crime....

wait till yer convicted!!! or till you need to renew, not sure if insurance requires that you inform them of speeding fines in between renewals.

Tough luck though, been a co car driver with 9 points at one time, no insurance worries, but couldn't move companies and had to be REALLY careful.

Stay on your licence for 4 years, but totting up to twelve points only if it occurs within 3 year period. (ie you could have more than 12 points and still keep yer licence)

It's Sunday so all the pious are out. :-$

As for the points, they stay on your license for 4 years, but only count on the totting up system for 3 years.

I suppose thats the chance you take, some you win some you lose? I would inform the licensing department as soon as possible if I were you.................You don't want an invitation to the licensing committee explaining why you failed to inform them you had recently been convicted of a motoring offence.

Regards

Ask the question on here www.pepipoo.com they'll put you right on the why's and wherefore's of whether it was a legal pull.
