re the Glasgow PH, when they come to renfrewshire they use bus lanes, so I take it us renfrewwshire boys can use the glasgow bus lanes, even though we are not allowed th enhanced signage?

That was one of the reasons for us getting Enhanced Signage.

And well done to them. =D>

Not sure about the three points, but it's nice to see you have joined Mr GBC's 'taxis can do no wrong' union. [-X

I'll send you an application form as soon as Eastbourne give you that magic piece of perspex.

Or, given time, I'll drop it from the plane window as I fly of to retirement in the 'artic' :D

I thought the use of Bus Lanes was only within the Licencing area mate.

Could be wrong - anyone??

Was a few years back that was decided as far as I remember.

Involved lots of lawyers, lots of fee's and just a smidgen of common sense!

I have often wondered Why does a "Taxi" get preferential treatment over a Licenced PH in regards to what streets it can travel on?

Q. Who is ultimatly losing out if the PH isn't allowed on the bus lanes?

A. Maybe the same person both Taxi and PH are competing for one way or another - the customer!

hope you are, mind lots of Glasgow reg'ed PH use the Paisley ones, TBH I reckon the police turn a blind eye, particularly when they want the streets cleared. As you say above, wtf not, customer tells us where to go, why should we and they be caught in traffic, private hire it may be, but public don't see it that way, as far as they are concerned we are public transport, if the hacks can use them, then so should the PH.
