The number of drivers complained about is tiny, those that have received complaints from what I understand, have no shame and are not exactly discreet.

One, from what I'm led to believe, had a dump in Hyde Park Square in open view of someones house, and lets be honest here, got a well deserved summons for the offence.

The lack of toilets has an impact on everyone at night, not just taxi drivers, its all about being discreet if there are no nearby loo's.

Obviously, stringing up's too good for them

Okay GBC let me run this by you

Cabby beats up a member of the public for no other reason than being lippy and
“His fitness to remain licensed is now being considered”

Cabby throws rubbish out of his window and “His fitness to remain licensed is now being considered”

Cabby beats up another Cabby for whatever reason and “His fitness to remain licensed is now being considered”

Cabby tells Ph to Fu** off and gets reported “His fitness to remain licensed is now being considered”

Cabby tells punter to Fu** off because his wife is a lippy cow and refuses to take her and “His fitness to remain licensed is now being considered”

Cabby [edited by admin] in the street and “His fitness to remain licensed is now being considered”

Cabby refuses to take the Mayors daughter because she's a drunken tart and "His fitness to remain licensed is now being considered"

The Skull thinks you are a bunch of wa***** and " Your fitness to remain licensed is not being considered your licence is being revoked" Well why not you fit the criteria.

Is it just me or is there something wrong with this picture?

As tempting as it may be to go into the rights and wrongs of what goes on in the taxi world, the bottom line is we are licensed by an authority of some description, and whilst some rules suck, we have them, like the other laws of Britain to keep the house in some form of order.

We cannot pick and choose the ones we like, indeed some would like anarchy to rule, but thats never going to happen unless you believe drivell like the Marxist Review or Socialist Worker.

If you think we're a bunch of masterbators (it would appear eventualy everyone falls into that category at some stage in your books) then 'ce la vie' (neebs), luckily it won't stop me being part of the best and most rewarding Taxi trade which works within our fair isles.

Personaly I think your missing the fastblacks site too much?

Captain cab, i feel you are missing the point a bit, speak to any london hac or phv and they will tell you, there are very few places late a night to have a pee/poo.

Picture this, I pick up a base fare from my office in east london and they go to west london, there and back is about 1-1/2 hours, what if I need a wee?

What we should have is toilets all over london that are open 24 hrs and clean, I would be happy to pay if they were clean.

No Mr. GBC you kiss ass and you don't like it anymore than I do but at least I don't try to justify it.

"While the rules suck we have them" well lets not question the rules GBC lets comply. No point in pointing out how unfair these rules are is there? You don't want to look at that do you? You just want to keep the "house in some form of order" don't you? Regardless of how unfair the rules are or how many victims it takes to justify the rules? "We cannot pick and choose the the ones we like" but we can bend over and take it up the ars** for the ones we don't like just to keep "your house in order".

Why don't we pretend it's not happening and just count ourselves lucky until it's our turn? I wonder if you will be crying foul then?

I think you've been on the wrong side of the border for to long GBC then again maybe not.

You need a holiday, your starting to sound like the rebel without a cause.

You'll fight them all of your life and nothing will change, this thread was about a PCO notice telling drivers to stop urinating in the street.

Seriously now, if that was outside your house you would agree, as I do.

Its not hard, even in London to find a quiet dark side street, or a 24 hour garage, or some other discreet place to go.

It seems nowadays if someone does something wrong or illegal, it always turns into a personal attack on that individual, an injustice of the highest kind, not that in fact they've been caught red handed, and at the end of the day after they have spent a fortune defending their unlawful actions and making lots of noise in the process, they're still found to be at fault.

Whatever happened to just accepting your in the wrong and taking the punishment?

Anyway back to your anger, you should take a leaf out of Tommy Sheridans book and stand against these people you don't agree with, if you feel that strongly against the Edinburgh council, stand against them in the next round of local elections.

Luckily for me, having been on the wrong side of the border for over two decades has earned me the right to retire at 55.

Theres also the bonus of having retained my Scottish passport should I wish to return. 8)

If your succesful in getting more plates in Auld Reekie, I might stick one on the back of my TX and join you for a coffee at Canonmills.

GBC you would be more than welcome.

You know were I am coming from.

Ali Turnbull was suspended for a month for non-payment of a parking fine or should I say questioning the councillors on how unfair their meeting was. Should I then grovel at their feet if I fail to pay a parking fine? I slapped another cabby and told them to revoke the licence their answer to this was a month’s suspension. Should I in turn just accept what everyone else accepts hoping for retirement without standing up for my rights? I know of a cabby who beat a member of the public (to his disfigurement) with a wheel brace and never missed a day off work. How could this be I hear you say, because he kissed ass that's why.

Is pis**** in the street a hanging offence if you ask awkward questions?

Tell me GBC what's wrong with this picture? Why are we so different from everyone else?

Just a thought, maybe wee have it right?

Here’s one for you GBC. It’s not about pis**** in the street, or the non-payment of a parking fine or even slapping another cabby. It’s about accepting your place in the food chain and knowing what level of justice to expect. The problem is if you accept this it’s expected of me as well, and the trouble is I don’t.

Is this acceptable to you?

Aye and I'm not coming back, studying diesel

£250-£300 shift rental £130 to run my car to get to my work and £130-£150 in diesel to earn less than I did last year and the year before that and the year before that.

I can't afford to work and go backwards Diesel. I'll take my chances putting my efforts in elsewhere for the time being.

See you in the passing Diesel  Tell the boys there's another little surprise in the pipeline
