It would appear Edinburgh Airport desperately needs a feeder park but who's going to pay for it?

this is just the start of the BAA game to get rid of the rank now that COMCAB have the old onward travel spot

seen this one coming a mile away they were just waiting to use the buses as the reason to get rid of the rank.
question is where do you put the feeder rank.

Maybe they can't trust one another to adhere to it, and not jump the queue.

its a problem thats been engineered by the airport.

its easily solved! give us a bigger rank or give us the old feeder rank(the one that has cameras flight info etc).

mind you!, i think that would upset delgro/comcab as they now have the contract for movement of passengers from the airport.
and they paid 650k for a four year deal.

when are they(the edinburgh cabbies) going to learn, youre being shafted
comcab in city central out.
comcab now have the largest fleet in edinburgh.
the big differance now is that they can expand and contract thier fleet(through the ph at the airport) as they see fit, they no longer need the consencus of the plate holders to do so.
they can target as many contracts as they they want now, and can meet demand better than the competition.

game set and match.
and it still aint sunk in.
and yes ross/torn i am barred, but that wont stop me getting on the rank

ComCab and BAA are the good guys in all of this.

They’re not really in it for the money all they do is think about how to make life easier for their competitors. ComCab spent 650k just to give their strategic market position away. What they were really thinking about is how to make money for CRT and CITY. They didn’t really mean to bar anyone it’s just all these bad taxi drivers who pay a £1 to pick up punters and can’t get on the rank.

Read what Murray Fleming and Kieth Bell said about all you bad boys. :

Nice to know you are self-employed and ruining your own business      Must be the same as providing the service and paying for the privilege.

Here's a funny thought. Why don't all the Ph and Hacks withdraw their services and charged BAA for providing the service to the customer.

BAA gives the cabby a £1 every-time he picks up.

Sounds good to me

Na I don't suppose it makes sense to charge for a service you provide without paying for that service first.

Anyone would think you are a self-employed businessman     £40,000 for a plate     £30,000 for a vehicle     and then pay to provide the service      you just couldn't make this up Image
