As I said before money isn't everything, yes I gave up a well paid job, I wasn't happy in it, I see it as an extended holiday, lest face it the work is easy, and I live in a part of the world where folks are more impressed by who you are, than how much you earn, but you keep going, it's amusing for the rest of us
