I see a familiar name David Mallender who used to work I think for GNER has thought up an idea to take more money from taxi drivers up in the holiday town of Scarbourgh. The last time I went there I noticed they parked on some land outside the station next to the highway

They want taxi drivers to help pay for the upgrades via permits at some 30 odd stations, its time this was stopped, but as in most cases some taxi drivers think oh it's only a pound a day to go to work

when the plumber comes to do a job at my house I am going to say, right mate you have got the job but it'll cost you a pound a day cos your on my property and I need to invest in an extention and upgrade.

I think the only response to the train companies is not to tell them to f*** off, even though that does have some plus points, but to simply put 20p a ride on the tariff.

Then drivers can blame the train companies and not be out of pocket.
