Well it appears the only ones that care are the likes of you, and if your pocket is so full, then what's your problem? :?

I don't know why the London minicab trade have have a problem with internal plates, could it be they want external ones so the public think they are the same as taxis ?

By the way internal plating exists up here too,

Argyll & Bute Council and East Dunbartonshire Council use this system with no problems

Hi there east dunbartonshire seem to be changing now and putting the plates on the cars as having done with my mates car now instead of in the back window.

I just noticed a East Dunbartonshire car with the exterior plates on the M8. I don't know how those guys with the Mercs & Voyagers will feel about drilling holes into their bumpers ? !!

In my opinion if it isn't broke don't fix it, the old system has worked with now problems for years...sounds like extra business for platisign

The Council reports can be found here ;

The winner is http://www.vip-system.com/index.php !!

Only Argyll & Bute left now !!

The voice of reason from the London cab trade has crawled out again. :lol: :lol:

Still if the LPH trade wasn't taking his work then he wouldn't give a stuff. So they are clearly doing very nicely. \:D/

Woman Attacked In `taxi'
April 4, 2006 10:37: A woman was indecently assaulted in Streatham last Sunday when she accepted a lift in a car she thought was a taxi.

The woman, in her mid 20s, was walking along Milkwood Road at 5am when a man offered her a lift, claiming he was a cab driver. She got into the car and was driven to a car park on the Milkwood Road industrial estate. She was then indecently assaulted before the driver forced her to withdraw money from a nearby cash machine and drove away.

The suspect is described as 30, 5ft 8ins, dark skinned and of medium build, with an afro-type hair cut. He was clean shaven wearing a dark v neck t-shirt, dark blue jacket and dark tracksuit bottoms.

continued...
The car was a black five door estate with two aerials on the rear passenger side.

The front passenger door had a gold circle on it, with a telephone number and the word Brixton and some other writing.

Call Streatham CID on 020 8649 2240, or Crimestoppers anonymous on 0800 555 111 with information.
