AS a controller, I ask for the money up front about 50 per cent of the time. If I think they look iffy I get the money first, I know what it is like to be a driver.
Sometimes I don't ask and the driver get's a runner, but very very rarely.
Advice to all you driver's, don't stand in the reception of your base, it make's it very hard to say to a scum bag "nothing for an hour" when you are all standing there!!.

When was the last time a bus/train/plane passenger paid his fare at the end of the journey....what is the difference? Could you not sue the LA for any lost fares due to their rules? :sad:
