Or perhaps the GMB's still stuck in the 1970's, its finances certainly are.

If you are stupid enough to believe the rubbish from the NTA, then more fool you.

But then again this is a site run by a sports lawyer from Manchester isn't it?

I hate to burst your bubble 'brother' but the days of union rule went with the print.

So he shouldn't be organising a demo?

Similar to the ones the LTDA do. :-k

Well well.

Its obviously a bit of a sore point with you?

London seems to provoke these outbursts, but Britains premier Taxi service always will.

You should invite Arthur down to the south coast, at his age he may wish to peruse the local estate agents and rest homes.

Up the LTDA, a real drivers organisation.

The truth can be painfull sometimes, but it doesn't change it.

Say you are right, which by the way your not, it's a bit rich any member of the LTDA talking about unions/associations with money problems.

If it wasn't for the taxeeee brigade from Singapore, then Com-cab (when owned by the LTDA) would have gone bust.

Not at all, I just don't think people should be slagged off just for fronting up.

No problem having a pop at the content though. :D

You'll find that was down to the actions of two people, one named Geoff.

Further more you will be even more pleased to learn they now posess the biggest Taxi fleet in London with a multi million pound turnover.

So much so that my Taxi may have a couple of signs added to the front doors shortly. \:D/

Indeed, but it would appear most of them are GMB officers.

An internal investigation by the GMB, the country's fourth biggest trade union has accused supporters of its former general secretary and his present deputy of alleged criminal acts, a £150,000 " bribe" to a rival candidate to stand down and massive breaches of union rules on campaigning.

The report, a copy of which has been seen by the Guardian, concentrates on allegations against campaigns run for Kevin Curran, the former general secretary, and the current deputy general secretary, Debbie Coulter, who chaired last October's Labour party conference.

Mr Curran described the whole inquiry as a kangaroo court and his solicitor was considering legal action. Debbie Coulter declined to comment.
There is no investigation into their defeated rival, Paul Kenny, now acting general secretary, who told the investigators that none of the people supporting him had done any campaigning at all.

No witnesses came forward with any evidence against Mr Kenny.

Your one sad man. :?

You woud'nt know the word professional if it was stamped across your forehead, by the way there's no double 'f' in it.

But then coming from headcase like yourself it should come as no surprise.

Perhaps you could enlighten the good readers of TDO when the last time you drove a Minicab was?

Your a joke, and people know it.

. . . . and, Gate Goumet, dustmen, coffee shop workers, electricians, . . . . . .

Leave the Taxi trade to associations that are run by Taxi drivers not bitter sacked print workers who are illiterate.
