Take no notice of him Terry, he is just a bit sad over the bikes being licensed as cabs, and being allowed to rank up.

As a licenced taxi owner I see exactly where GBC is coming from. If minicabs and phc's want parity with their signed brothers then there is a simple answer. Study the knowledge. Sit the test and get a full taxi licence. Then you shall have your parity.

Peace............ :)

I don't recall anyone saying that? In your opinion perhaps, but we all know how far you like to stretch things.

You know the more you type things like this, the bigger a fool you make yourself look.

In fact some of the replies are getting so bad I'm starting to question whether this person is actualy Terry Flanagan, or someone on a wind up? :-k

You see, whoever you may be Mr GMBBS, as a Green Badge holder, I have no cause or need to rent anything out at anytime for money.

As has been widely publisised on here before, I can work a 3-4 night week and do just nicely.

PS: You would be most welcome at the next lodge meeting, I believe Roy Ellis may be there as well.

As you well know Ollie, these things have little impact on my customer base.

Perhaps your thinking of swaping sides? Not long before your side of the market is flooded with cheap immigrant labour from Eastern Europe.

I hope the GMB's ready for them?

what happens when the sex workers go on strike?
well either YOU save a lot of money OR YOU dont get your commission dropping off at the clubs EH
Been asked to point out Labour conference chaired by Mary Turner National President not D.Coulter
In GBC comments perhaps he should remember we are licenced the average of our vehicles is 6 years there are more of us we carry more passengers.and Iexpect us to obtain parity with black cabs as regards bus lanes and red routes.its just the speed of it frustrating my members.Hence the call from THEM for action. WE want to work alongside the black cabs on mutually agreed issues our relationship Bob Oddy andLTDA is fine we both understand that sometimes things have to be said in public or print thats life.Meeting to discuss tactics or feasibility 1 8 06 225 Streatham high rd [Monsiegnors] 1900 hrs all welcome even green badge holders [why not] look forward to the debate meeting jointly sponsored by GMBPDB Lambeth Mini Cab Forum Drivertax Taxi Centre Glasgow.

So London bus drivers do the knowledge then?

So all the other cab drivers in the country do the London knowledge then?

Thats a bit personal 'brother', I might be gay for all you know? I believe thats instant promotion nowadays in the public sector?

I may point out minicab drivers also receive comission from the lap dancing clubs if they recommend punters.

I earn a fortune when Sussex is in town.

Well answer me this then Mr GMBBC, why do thousands leave your industry never to return?

Why have thousands signed onto the knowledge, to become Taxi drivers and vow never to return?

Why in over two decades have I never known anyone to leave our side for yours?

Why does your average Addison Lee / Premier / Matrix driver have to work for 12 hours a day, 6 days a week, and I get away with 3/4 nights?

I guess we must be doing something right?

You possess slightly more optimism than I do then.

I think you know that I meant the topographical test for their local area. And I didn't realise minicabs and phc wanted parity with bus drivers too! Now now, Don't confuse the issue. ! parity request at a time please if you don't mind. Now I'm going to bed for an hour or 2 so I can enjoy my weekly 3 days off. TTFN :D

Hmm :-k

Perhaps TFL will give me some holiday pay as well?

To be honest 'brother Tell', what you do or write does'nt really take priority in my day to day life as much as mine would concern you.

I will however continue to highlight any bullsheeite, such as illegal imigrants renting taxi's and licenses out, masonic lodge membership, etc.

We can all make up stories, however without evidence, or corroboration you will find they do you more harm than good, as I think you may have found out with that article.

I see you know my turf GBC. Luckily Melvilles burned down. But it was soon replaced by another club, Club Earth. Keep fighting the good fight, I got your back brother

This is about bus lane access. My point is that those others I mentioned don't need the KOL to drive in London's bus lanes.

So why should London's own PH vehicles? :?
