Hi all,

just looking at going down the path of buying my own car for use in the ph trade.

i have currently been renting for the last 2 years and have paid in between £145 - £165 PER week for my car from a local guy who rents out to the trade.

My credit history is not too good, and was wondering if there are anyone out there who finance people like lil old me!

Please note i am not after people like Welcome or Yes Car Credit but someone who is not going to rip me off and treat me like a human.

Surely if i can pay weekly car rent for the last couple of years I would be able to afford a car on finance.

I look forward to all your replies.

Regards
Chris

You are not alone, and I suspect there are many other people out there in the same boat.

Someone I spoke to a few weeks ago used ww.supermarket.com not sure his credit history, but they sorted him out a loan.

Also I was reading in PHM that Fowlers (yes I know some have bad reports) offer some sort of guaranteed finance.

Not sure what % but a phone call is all you can lose.

if you have a dodgy credit record they you might have to bite the bullet and go with one of the sub-prime lenders who take the p1ss with the interest rate, such as welcome or Ucan.

have you asked a friend or family member if then could take out a loan in their name and you pay the monthly payments?

thats what i did.

Whatever you do don't go to Fowlers, bought 02 plate car there in jan, they had it back for 4 weeks in march to try and sort it out. |I paid £780 sine jan trying to fix it, it broke down on 4th july another £980 had enough so sent it back and went solicitor and ended deal still await letter in writing from Fowlers. Lost alot of money, and now forced to rent at £160 per week, so I am also looking for finance.Help!!!!!!

Will your company owner not help you?
Ours does a track buy scheme where you rent the car off him upto the value of the car (agreed between you) then it's yours. It guarantee's you stay with the company for the duration (in his interest) and you end up with the car.

Maybe you should just sign on as you're not a viable option for a bank or any financial institute to lend money to.

:P :P :P :P :P :P
