Tell you what Dave, list all your acheivments since licensing that MATTER.

Just remind me please of all the LTDA achievments since PH licensing. :-s

And let's not forget people aren't told to join the GMB, unlike the patsies that are told by Comcab to join the LTDA. :?

I'm not a great fan of unions, nor for the matter associations, but if I was in the sh** I would much rather be backed up by a union, than an assocaition.

Especially the associations we have in the taxi/PH trade. [-(

Well you will be able to put your mind at rest knowing you'll never be represented by a London Taxi association.

Perhaps you could team up with the bigot and start a branch in Eastbourne? :D

Caring who represents me comes way down on the list to caring about winning.

Bus Lanes

Red Route exemptions

Advertising

Proper negotiations with people who count at the PCO

Free and open access to the Rail and Bus Termini

Access to Oxford Street

Thousands of ranks

Refreshment facilities for the sole use of the Taxi trade

Drivers who ALL speak English and know where they're going
but better than all of the above, we get respect from the travelling public.

=;

. . . and as long as the GMB continue to 'lead' the other side, we'll maintain our number one position long after I retire, which is getting closer by the day. \:D/

But all of that was pre-licensing of PH, and most of it was pre-Boer War.

I'm not sure the GMB are trying to lead the other side, more just trying their best for their members.

Now that might be a good or bad thing, but at least they seem to be trying.
