just wondering how the fare compares from my opeartors to others

so i'll start of with mine


£1.80 first 0.8 miles
£0.15 per 1/10 miles

£1.00 per 5 mins waiting time

0.6 miles : £2.30 (6am-10pm) / £2.90 (10pm-6am)
1 mile : £2.80 / £3.50
then per mile : £1.30 / £1.65

PHV and Hackney have the same fares in my area; and same Badge!

Rate 1: £1.60 start rate
Rate 2: £2.00
Rate 3: £1.80
Rate 4: £3.00

(Thats day, Sunday, night and Xmas!)

2 miles 4.60

3 miles 5.70

so after the first mile its 1.10 pence for each mile

waiting 20p a minute

T1 days 5am to 11.30 pm £2.40 1st mile £1.40 per mile thereafter
T2 nights 11.30pm to 5am £3.60 1st mile £2.10 per mile therafter
T3 Xmas/bank Hol's £4.80 1st mile £2.80 per mile thereafter
20p min waiting time
£35 sickies

looking like as i expected, we are on just about te lowest fares ever!!!!

and our tariff does not sange at a certain time, just a flat rate

A case of market forces, but PH, as you know can set their own fares so a small increase might make other PH follow suit.
If your a Hac, then lobby the council!
Warrington were something like 364th in the table at one time! but buying work by keeping fares low doesnt always work.
