HEADLINE: BROUGHT TO JUSTICE

The following case was heard at Cardiff Magistrates' Court:

Arshad Khan, 46, of Daniel Street, Cathays, Cardiff, was fined pounds 100 with pounds 60 costs after pleading guilty to plying for hire in a controlled district while not being a Hackney carriage. He was also fined pounds 500 and had his licence endorsed with eight penalty points for driving with no insurance and engaging in street trading in a prohibited street.

I've always wondered why more councils don't go down the insurance route, cos catch them twice and they're out. :wink:
