I wish you well.

As for the insurance, £1,500 with no no-claims seems reasonable to me.

My tip of the day is work like a so and so for the few months to pay off some of the bills, then decide which hours suit you best.

Many thanks for advice insuance has asked for my private no claims to convert to 1 yr taxi insurance. Printed business cards to hand out and will put advert in local rag to get going. Only problem ranks not used much except weekends nights. Is it worth contacting supermarkets they seem to have freephones with private hire firms. Not got radio in just using house phone divert to mobile bluetooth

I wish you the very best of luck. There's no reason why you can't make a good living. You definitely need to get some good cards made up and you should be onto a winner.

As far as your insurance is concerned, I'd say that is a very reasonable quote.

Best wishes....

Advertising in local rags gives a very poor return for the money laid out the most effective methods are cards and yellow pages/bt phone book
