I was wondering if anybody is using this technology to take calls? from what i have been led to believe is that all out of area numbers you have diverted to your office can be diverted to a ip number and you do not incur the divertion costs also their apparently are no line rentals or call charges so all you pay is a fixed fee for the ip phone system & also for every number you have coming thru ur ip will give you 16 channels for each number on the facts & figures i have been given show i could save about 75% on phone bills is this to good to be true? or is anyone here using this

Only problem is reliability, the last thing you want is your internet connection going down and losing all your lines.

True the internet connection going down is a concern but from what i have been told this technology is being used for all the major call centres that are based as far away as India & this technology is why they can locate so far away & still keep their call costs down also u can still leave ur normal phone system in & it still lets u divert back to that system if u lose ur internet connection for a long period
