yesterday night, he went on a 10 minute toilet break so i passed on his job, then asked him if he was ready. when he said "yes" i passed him the next job.

he came back into the office and started aggressivly inquesting why i passed the job on.

i told him "you always claim you are self employed, give my radio and stickers and good luck"

ferkin t***s are some drivers, theres drivers galore and im not gonna listen to the [edited by admin] of one idiot.

Its hard to comment on what is obviously a private matter between you and the driver.

Surely you just told him that the customer wanted his/her cab then and there, and didn't want to wait while he was having a pony. 8-[

You will not be surprised to find out I'm as straight with drivers face to face as I am on here. 8-[

That said, IMO drivers rather like it said as it is, rather than p***ing around the issue.

So theres drivers galore? not in London very shortly.and maybe coming your way SOON.That said no viable union would ever consider defending the indefensible. If the drivers on the BENGHAZI he might find it difficult to drive at the same time???????????

The issuing of temporary permits was extended due to the proprietors crying driver shortage. The issuing of temp permits ceases 31dec.ECRs currently taking anything up too 12weeks.In excess of 200 companies gone bust in last 10months.PHC mag currently carrying more ads for drivers than at anytime in its history, why if theres no shortage??Currently drivers, read and believe fraudulent ads, invest in vehicles etc quickly realise theyve been swindled and dapart. In excess of 2000 fully licenced drivers have left the industry in last year.No figures available for temp permit holders. How many will wait up to 12weeks to enter industry?
Maybe your company has good work load and reputation?Tell me do you think in a years time the current situation will prevail?

I reckon 200 companies went bust because they were probably illegal(no planning permission/tax evasion etc etc). PHM carrying loads of adds for drivers?, they are the top companies looking for top drivers, IE, english speakers. Drivers waiting 12 weeks to start?, so what, I want CRB checked drivers, not muppetts of the street.

No they were licenced companies, and you want what everyone else wants.and by your own admission you cant get them.Totally agree with you on English speaking requirments. If you have any info on any companies corrupting TOP test tell me [in confidence of course] i GUARANTEE they will be investigated.By PCO and US!
