When I first started many years ago I had a sierra ghia and I had my master london atlas in the holder behind the drivers seat(the place where the punters dump all thier rubbish).
I went to use the atlas one day and it was gone, me being very nieve thinks ive left it indoors or lent it to another driver. After about a week and I can't find it I went and bought another one and put it in the same place.
About a month before christmas I picked up 2 fellas from a regular address and they sat in the back, when I dropped them off I looked over my shoulder to do a u turn and one of the fellas has got my atlas and is dissapeering into the flats. Cheeky git!, I thought to myself "I have him for this".
I put my [edited by admin] plan into action!, I told the controller that if that address phones for a cab can I do the job. I did a big terd into some clingfilm and wrapped it up and put it into an empty perfume box(chanel), wrapped the box in christmas wrapping paper and put a small label on it saying happy christmas mum. About 2 weeks later I got the same address job again and out comes the fella who nicked my atlas. I put the perfume box behind my seat and he got in behind me. When I dropped him off the perfume box was gone!.
I can just imagine his mum opening the perfume box on christmas day and finding my terd!.
Makes me smile just thinking about it. :D

A brand new, still in the box, digital camcorder. Handed in, not claimed, returned to me, thank you very much.
