At times I'm amazed that folks from the ethnic community stick with this game.

At my firm, the drivers who get the most abuse are the ones who can't speak english properly and therefor cannot communicate with the customers.

have you ever tried to be nice to these drivers? or ever tried too match up the right customer to the right driver?

and just because these drivers are "verbally" challenged you never tried to help them?

Yes I have tried being nice.
As most of the customers are english it would be hard to match up the driver to customer. It would also be inpractiable on a busy night.
As stated before, I went to the local collage and got information on free english courses, and not one driver took up the chance.
Maybe i'm old fashioned, but I think you should learn english if you want to live/work in this country.

well i am glad to know that you have at least tried to be helpful, but seriously no one should have to take abuse of customers, no matter what

Ah.

I'll be off from Friday until the New Year, I guess it'll have to wait until after then.

I can stand in your doorway and tout some custom as it will be January.

Yeah, but the Station based work is good at the moment.
It's also a good excuse not to find South London. :D
