Has anyone an idea as to what goes wrong when a halda m12 meter wont turn off the top light when pressing the hired button or when you turn the meter off, its not the wiring as other meters work OK.

Its an internal switch.

If you tap it (the meter) the light should go off.

To fix it, it needs sent to a halda dealer.

GBC you must have been doing airport transfers, due to the fog, and all that fresh air with being out of the smoke, must have gone to the head.
I just press the buttons and don't know a thing about the gubbins inside but if there is an easy fix I will have a go. I have already fix one halda as the display was dim all the time and all that was wrong was a dry solder joint

Oh no, not me.

I stick to London, it saves BP's profits from rising any further.
