I disagree with you Terry.

Whilst the CRB check and medicals maybe essential, why should a PH driver need to sit a topographical knowledge test when his work is pre booked?

Okay, I'll get the dictionary out for prevaracating

No didnt make it to Brighton, but it was a good 2 - 1 win, made it to the home game on New Years Day another win, although Bradford were the better side.

I agree Terry.

It's high time the London Minicab trade were brought up to our high standards with The Knowledge of London.

The only problem I forsee with that, is there would be no Minicab industry left, Taxi's would be plentiful, and radio circuits would be genuine Taxi cicuits once more. =D>

I'll tell you now, the Minicab bosses won't have meters fitted, then they would be as expensive as these real London Taxi's? Perish the thought.
They would rebel instantly against the idea, and it will never get of the ground.
My opinion? Great bring them on, why pay the metered rate to squash into an M reg Astra, when you can ride in a real taxi for the same price.
Have you got a petition going? add my signature if you have. \:D/

Radios out of Taxi's? Have you been drinking again today Terry? :D
If Brian Rice or Geoff Riesel had said it, my ears might have pricked up (theres a joke in there somewhere) but I think your dreaming again.

As for the ageing socialist aka The Liar Livingstone being re-elected, well I think he's [edited by admin] so many people off recently, I would'nt be too sure.

Personaly i've yet to meet anyone who's ever admitted to voting for the man, and I meet a lot of people.

In 1981, he was elected as the GLC councillor for Hayes and Harlington and became Chair of Finance responsible for GLC's £3 billion budget. He was also deputy leader to Ken Livingstone.

That says it all. Mainstream Labour supporters won't have a firebrand at the helm.

I'm sure many will campaign for him, but, like meters in Minicabs, it won't get of the ground.

To lead nowadays you need to be well known and have more charisma opposed to brain cells.

I have it on good authority that the decision to put meters in Minicabs is outside the control of your mate Ken. It's down to the Government who would have to change the act. The Government opposed to Livingstone or the GLA formulated the LPH act.

When's your Birthday Terry, I'll buy you a paragraph.

I think your placing to much trust in John Griffen, remember he only run's one company with about 600 car's, the Radio circuits run about 5000 taxi's, and rumour has it, some of Mr Griffens competitors Minicab companies.

Theres the real reason, no one's in bed with Addison Lee and he's getting lonely.

Of course the GMB does help organise language training and brushing up on numeracy and literacy skills as well as introductions to basic computor skills free of charge if enough volunteers can be found.

Divide and rule is a tactic our bosses have used all around the world, you only have to look at Britains old colonies from the days of imperial plunder. Turk v Greek in Cyprus, India and Pakistan and Catholic v Protestant in the oldest colony of all the island on Ireland.

Ignorance and cowardice allows them to get away with it. Those who raise their intellectual level and find their backbone see through that crap.

Workers of the world unite or in our case drivers unite and lets get rid of the cowards and simpletons. Join the union start the fightback
