Weeeeee problem for the boys at cooncil HQ.
Council Wigglesworth is a man of the cloth, the same goes for our new cooncil leader, Cllr Aitken. Somehow I just can't see Wiggy lying under oath?
Regulatory meeting 7th October 2005. The bold Wigglesworth in front of witnesses said " I'm going to go on record and say that Jacobs is flawed" I know because I represented drivers and their plate applications on that day. I pointed to the factually incorrect data contained in the Jacobs survey, as well as all the demand indicators Jacobs left out (thanks to JD). The overwhelming evidence compelled Wigglesworth to break ranks, hence his statement. They should have taken steps to re-investigate Jacobs before deciding to deny licence applications. They didn't. Not only that they omitted Cllr Wigglesworths statement from the minutes.
The council decision must based on correct material fact.
They must exercise their discretion in a reasonable manner, in accordance with natural justice.
We've waited over a year to stick it right up them.

'timing is everything' as they say.
Murphy's Law states "what can go wrong will go wrong" nae luck Wiggy.

. £300,00 spent on Taxi-buses and a proposed 592 million on a new tram system. Meanwhile tens of thousands of pounds are spent in court fighting to deny taxi driver's their licence plates. I don't think so somehow.
BTW Jacobs is out of date anyway. This time round it will be cooncillors in the witness box and not corporate services drawing our fire.
Could this be why they would not appear on talk radio?
