if its from america or germany don't buy it as the home and leisure returns are unbelieveable...!!

unless they've turned it round now i dont know.

but even with discount card the staff certainly wouldnt buy from there..... :-|

Steer clear of that one, you pay £99 you get £99 worth of trouble, a guy wrote into our local paper the other week about them, he'd bought one and it was taking him all over the place. The following week another guy wrote in telling him to go to Halfords and get a proper Sat Nav.

I'd recommend a Tom Tom One. About the size of a wallet and have had no problems. Really good piece of equipment. You can pick one up for around £182 now.

Yes, Thanks for that, I am keeping an eye open, I shall wait for them to come cheaper, don't really need one, its just that most taxi drivers now have them

I am not up on tech stuff, still can't fathom out how to use a Video recorder, my daughter keeps saying get a dvd player, don't know what she's on about

The Tom Tom's software is very easy to use. It comes ready to use right out of the box and you don't need to bother with anything else, though you can set it up according to your tastes and uses: example get the screen to display your speed, time till destination, time of arrival etc.

Navigation options are post code, street address, city centre and points of interest which has everything from resturants to parks and everything in between.

Heard a report on the news yesterday about a woman sat at a level crossing near Hastings, her sat nav told her to "Turn right here" so she did and got stuck on the train tracks, apparently it closed the mainline for a couple of hours, i think i'll stick to knowledge and maps

What to send someone up a railway line?

Don't think we would need a poll to see which poster we would love to win.
