The people who prosper the most in the taxi trade in Gateshead used to be the PH operators but as you quite rightly state the balance of power is likely to shift, and it is shifting, more increasingly, to the HC owner driver.

GA whatever you think you have achieved is entirely a figment of your imagination. Councils do what they want because they always have, and if you want to take credit for it be my guest. Your gratification is about being in the process of being recognised at your little meetings with the council, all boys together and all that.

GET REAL, Councillors are only interested in is their egos, their political careers and ingratiating themselves with people who can do them favours.
BTW how long have you kissed as* up at the council, you sound pretty new at it?
