Mr Caseys little dig at TDO.

Trevor, tell Mr Casey I'm astonished at the Chairman representing Carlilse TOA. I think he will know what I mean?

When we all know it MUST have been the other way round?

If you say jimbo. lol

Why don't you like the idea of the NCC coming to us and not people like you?

Does that wrangle you in some way?

Regards

JD

"wrangle"? My mum had one on her twin tub.

I like the idea of the NCC going to you. And the MCC, the NSPCC, and the CIA, or MI5 or MFI.

I said I did not believe that they came to you.

I think it more likely you went to them.

So, did you go to them?

Jimbo.

I thought you already answered that question. You tell me? I think its fairly obvious they didn't go to the "NTTG" or the "NTA" don't you?

Whats the story behind that article i posted that said Lincoln cabbies are disorganised? lol

JD

Read the Halcrow report, that you surely hold.

Tell you what, I will answer your question about Lincoln cabbies, if you answer this.

Who made the first contact, you, or the NCC?

Well, I would think they went to someone who would support their wish to de-limit the trade nationally, so the last people they would want input from would be the NTTG or the NTA surely?

Quality controls... your spelling could do with some quality control - kidding. Why does delimitation = better quality? I think limitation leads to better quality, just look at the buses !!

Normally my spelling is QUITE good but I'm not going to make excuses for being lackadaisical. lol

I'm sure Blackpool is a very good advertisement for your opinion that limitation leads to better quality controls.

You seem very hostile for a new contributer? Have we met before?

lol

Do carry on you are very entertaining.

I could always cite Halton if you have an aversion to Blackpool?

What a great basis for a taxi issue debating forum.

Hows about we discuss the NCC itself ....and its agenda. It says on its website that its funded by the Department of Trade and Industry (yup the same dept that paid for the OFT report) and its panel members are appointed by them.

NCC is acting now ahead of a promised government review later this year.

That's a welcome confirmation of the review, or a little dig at OFT not to forget.

This is interesting to say the least. :-k

Most people don't really know the difference between a PH and a cab outside of London, so it's strange that so many actually said they used an un-licensed vehicle.

Strange, but if true, alarming.

The NCC Press Release mentions a survey they had carried out for them by TNS, but I can't find any detail anywhere..... has anyone seen this survey, or know how to get hold of a copy??

NO, but if you can get the info then please put it up on here.
