Problem is GA that it's pseudo-elected officials like you who have dragged the trade down.

What exists is little more than a trade desperate to hang onto its restrictive practices to avoid it having to compete in the wider economic world.

Where have our "representatives" ever promoted modernisation? Where have they ever directly involve those whom they purport to represent? Where have they ever fedback information about the cabal they operate in.

Truth is, without the coming of the internet, sites like TDO, we would still all be subject to the tried and tested management techniques of the vested interest taxi trade:-

How have you gathered enough information to decide that I am a pseudo-elected official .................. and could you please supply evidence on exactly how I have dragged the trade down. Please don't hesitate to be specific.



Absolute nonsense ............ 80% of my members do not have a plate which could attract a premium so have no plate value to protect ............. it should also be pointed out that what we would like to see is a trade regulated by high professional standards ................ never mind the wider economic world ........... we much prefer to live in the real world.



I couldn't possibly comment on your representatives Jasbar but we constantly promote modernisation and seek new opportunities for our members .................. oh and when we were consulted on the 36 policy changes we insisted that all drivers be individually consulted, and they all recieved consultation papers ......... and when the ph operators found out they insisted that their drivers left the consultation to them (and most did, although this was reported to the council).



Unless you moved to Gateshead. You don't need to tell me about the power of internet forums I have been involved in them for more years than I care to remember ......................... but what you should remember is that they are bias to the oipinion of the site owners and so what gets debated are the more imotive issues .................. now I can tell you that some people will put up with a whole load of $hit to get their points across whilst others are not willing to put up with the abuse and stop posting ................. and its only fools that believe chasing people away from forums with a tirade of abuse means that they are right.

Biased? perhaps. Bo no more than the alleged free press which picks and chooses the stories to report.

The court decision in Edinburgh is a case in point. They have the story, but nothing. Perhaps the reason is that I pointed out how it was a pile of merde, that the council behaved illegally and the darling of the council, Donald Anderson, knew about it all along and did nothing about it.

Oh well. Back to the NET. And to the council ombudsman.

So you accept the fact that you would go to certain sites to get certain information written in a certain perspective ............................... you would then accept that my opinions vary from the perspective of this site.

Is it so bad that I offer an alternative viewpoint????????????

If your representatives act improperly that doesn't mean that all do ............. I'm aware of the shortcoming of my predecessors and their shortsighted self involved attitudes and am trying to change the way drivers are represented.

GA, opinions are like as*****, everybody’s got one and as for your “alternative view point” you don’t have one.

You are no different from your predecessors in both these respects.

I have personally heard this pi** so many times before I am sick hearing it. It’s the same product in a different package. You are not new and neither is your rhetoric, a bit behind the times maybe but not new. The pi** you come out with has been the staple diet for owners and especially drivers for as long as I can remember, and them some... It’s like Groundhog Day the Movie; history just repeats itself.

So everyone agrees with the main objective of this site which is quite clearly deregulation of the taxi trade ................... and my points which differ from that of the admin cannot be called alternative???????????? why ????????? what other word would you like me to use to explain my opposition.

I'm sick of you coming on here and making unfounded allegations about my activities ................... you just come on here and spout personal insults because that is the only way you even stand a chance of being in the argument ....................... you say my opinion is old hat .............. but you cannot justify your allegations or any of your arguments against me choosing to just berate my opinions solely on the basis that your experience of elected representatives is not good.

You will never, ever bully me away from any argument or debate ............. I believe in my opinions which have been formed with consideration for others ............... you just want to shaft everyone and you don't care what happens as long as you get what you want ..................... no wonder trade reps in your area told you to fook off, the world involves many more people than you.
