If i were you i'd get my sign ready, so you can take people from the bus stop to town for a quid!

Where as PH will have a booking just around the corner to take their neighbour to town for full fare!! And at our rates, not some the council make up!

What is this rubbish about, "bus stops for a quid" "take your neighbour to town", I dont care if you take your entire campsite to town.

Strange you put this on the general section, but put GoSkills on the restricted section. :-k

NOT ONE POSTER ON THIS SITE HAS DEMONSTRATED THAT THERE IS ANY PUBLIC DEMAND FOR PH.
IF YOU CANT ESTABLISH THAT EVERYTHING ELSE FALLS APART.

1) No mixed circuits, if you advertise Taxi you must supply a Taxi to customers.
2) Ban PH cars from using Taximeters. A PH operator must enter a contract (verbally is just as binding and valid) stating clear the price for the job when accepting a booking.

Why? :?

3) No mixed advertising. All Taxi Owners/Operators should boycott any publication that lists Taxis and PH together as one. Each should have its own section. YP has done more to elevate the status of PH and confuse the public than any other publication. A Taxi is a TAXI a PH is not a Taxi by another name.

Oh dear. I think you need to learn a little bit about publishing as well as most other things.

The advertiser is king, without them you have (on paper) nothing. Tell them what they can and can't do leads them to tell you to f*** off.

4) Ban any on car advertising, roof signs etc that could in any way confuse the public and mislead them into believing the vehicle is a taxi or in any way available for direct hire.

And increase the number of rapes and assaults by un-licensed scum.

5) Change the name of PH licences rename and re-define their role. If as they claim they have a market and trade in their own right then let them work it.

Change to what, and they don't claim to have a market, they have. And it's because of brain dead hackney boys like you that that market is increasing. :D

Amish Boy (sussex) late to the party, there has been at least 5 replies already not like you to stick your hoof in so late. If the points I suggest are implimented the public would get what they ask for, A TAXI not a PH proporting to be a taxi.

We know that's not the solution, wholesale Dereg/Delimit does not work. There is not one area than can demonstrate that Dereg/De-limit has been beneficial to the travelling public, the customer does not benefit.

So where is the mass clamer to re-limit in the 72% by the local residents?

Why are my good friends at the NCC such big fans of de-limitation if it's bad for punters? :?

They don't need to cos the punters can do it for themselves.

If there wasn't a demand for PH, then I wouldn't earn a bean.

Is my demand a taxi demand, well TBH I don't give a f***, but even more importantly neither do punters.

And that's all that matters.

Well they wont because they are stupid, as is anyone that believes there is a 'cat in hells' chance of even one of them happening.

But if that's the best the re-limit boys can come up with, then you have made my day. :D

Well Amish Boy Taxi offices can now communicate with the vehicles on the road, they act as agent, take a booking and pass it on to the driver who pays for the service. Customer and supplier are united, money changes hands, its called commerce.
