Rather than have a moan at each other, what about we all post how much our beloved operators take off us each week to pay for their mercedes and yacht?

I'll kick off with £110 soon to be £120 plus 10% on a/c work.
Can anyone beat that?

I would say that's the norm for good old Sussex by the sea.

But TBH I wouldn't mind paying ten grand a week if I was taking twenty. :D

My drivers pay either £10 per day or £55 maximum for the week and that hasn't changed for over 10 years courtesy of the increased competition from deregulation

all taxi firms round my way charge about the same the trouble is in our area it is 100% Hackney and we were the First area in the country to deregulate which means that in 15 years we have gone from a total of 18 cars working the town to over 100 mostly part timers from outside the district working Friday and saturday nights hence at 11pm on a friday night 60 cars queueing at the rank (which only holds 11 :-o ) customers know they can get a car wherever and whenever so the phone work is below the levels of 15 years ago people only want taxis into town hence the drivers threaten to walk out en masse at the mere suggestion of a price rise !

£75 for the PH company round my area.

£25 for the Taxis but thats two radio companies competing in a very small town.

I'm not sure what the Glasgow taxis will pay in.
