Once again NO TIPS you have been shot down in flames but as per part of the course your ignorance will still shine through and you still wont give up, Grandad is indeed 100% correct, so you see no matter which way you look at it the system has stood the test of time, come on its getting boring now with you keep banging on about it!!!!!!

Just came back from the USA yesterday after looking at a New H3 140 " Hummer :D

So called DCL to insure it they have said no to self-drive hire but if you LA will license it as a 16-seater mini bus then there will insure it for 16 or if it has a COIF then there will insure it for 13+1 or its 8 only? ](*,) [-X DCL

So I have lost £5000.00 deposit  but I sooner lost that than £50,000-£60,000

So it looks like we will all be buying old buses taking out the trim then calling it a limo bus once we have contact the right departments on change of use & construction

so no tips you may be right i was told up to 10 weeks by DCL

but what i wonder how many will still carry 16 insured or not?
this will boil down to as normal

Greed! Greed! Greed!

I would love to know what legislation allows a LA to license anything that seats more than 8 punters. :?

For what it's worth I think Mr Kermit wants to work, and does work, within the law.

And if this self drive lark is deemed unlawful, then I would be very surprised if Mr Kermit wasn't the first mush to bin it.

Thanks for your vote of confidence Sussex, Yes your quite right also, if its proved to be wrong then so be it and yes i personally would not carry on with the system if indeed i still owned limos but i clearly dont anymore., however i feel that yet again no tips is ignoring posts, i did say we could call a truce and that im personally no longer bothered by what goes on as im no longer an owner, i only drive the sodding things, however i would be the first one to moan at people if i found the system was legally flawed and a court had ruled this, as safety of the public has always been paramount in my opinion!!!!!! Now No tips could you please get off my back as it rreally is starting to get a bit tedious now and i think most sensible people on this site now know where i stand and realise that i have to the best of my ability always ran legally whilst i was an owner driver!!
