 Post subject: hyundai sonata

have just bought the sonata but i hame having difficulty finding someone with the time to fit my digitax meter :sad: does anyone know where to find the pulse wire so i can fit it myself then just have it calibrated

I think I am correct in saying that the pulse wire is normally yellow, and that applies to nearly every modern vehicle with an electronic speedo, made within the last 5 years.

Yes it should be yellow with a splash of white, think it could be found on the radio plug wiring at the back of the in car radio.

easy way to find its correct wire, is to stick a avo meter on it [the wire], red test probe to the wire, black test probe to earth, jack up a drive wheel, start engine, put in gear, test meter should show reading then go back to zero ie. pulsing,

if unsure ask the main dealer tech dept, they should be able to tell you

sorry for the delay in repling guys but have found it now
it is the black 3 pin connecter at the back of the engine and the wire is yellow and white
