I can tell you the opposite is true.

Strange really. PH with no restrictions on vehicles, has scores of non owner drivers. The Hack side has only two.

That's because the PH side know how to make money.

But all this boils down to not what we think is best for Jon, but what Jon thinks is best for Jon.

If he wants to buy a vehicle and license it as a taxi, then WTF shouldn't he? :?

Tis true, Osama Bin Laden was a Minicab driver.

President Bush should give some serious thought to becoming one as well.........

Where a council de-limits on the basis of all new taxis being wheel-chair accessible, but allow existing plate-holders to keep their saloons.

So although the council is de-limited, there is still a value on a saloon taxi as they need not buy a more expensive vehicle.

Not to be confused with a Brighton, where new plates are WAV-only, but numbers are still restricted overall.

Thus both plates should still have a value, but the saloon's should be higher than the WAV's because the former are cheaper to run than the latter.

You would have to look at the constitution, or ask them via a FoI act inquiry.
