Indeed unless your in stoke on trent  However what i will say is i have heard the national news on the radio today and they now want to increase the tax on foods that contain added salts or fats, i did say be careful what you wish for as we are becoming a country led by dictators, what will be next , we need to stand up and be counted IMO !!!!

Well for all the fanfair the ban up here has only decreased the number of smokers marginally, and I daresay that might have happened anyway because the numbers have been going down over the years.

In fact some reports have claimed that tobacco consumption has gone up overall, and this is perhaps because ex pub-goers are staying at home and thus have more money to spend on fags.

So no doubt we'll have more spouses and kids who don't have a lot of choice in the matter dying early, but pub goers who chose to be exposed to passive smoking will be living longer.

And encouraging non-smokers to go into pubs more is hardly what I'd call healthy.
