It is apparent by your post and the way it's written that you don't have a very good education my limo friend, Perhaps this explains your ignorance towards the schedule 6 and the safety of limo's as you clearly have not read up on this, Limos are one of the safest forms of transport as you should be aware!! Yes i agree with you there are some limo ops out there who flout the safety rules, as in all trades but for someone like you to come on here and spout your 8 seater crud is truly amazing, however i will also admit im an 8 seater limo op but i can understand why some people choose to carry over 8 in a safe and legal way, now can i suggest you do your homework before you go making a real fool of yourself and get your spelling and grammar sorted out as currently it makes a mockery of your post

My spelling and grammar may not be the greatest in the world, but for you to pick on that it just shows how you chose to ignore the real issue.

kermit if you would like to go back to my last post i put it right just for you.

But my limos are legal, no back door ballsh+t like a schedule 6

Hello all

I've just been sitting back & reading all the posts on here, over the last few days.

The 13 seaters that have been COIF. well done to those owners & the money they have spent.

Owners of over 14 seaters / S-6 Conversions should fight their own battles with the government, and not expect the 8-seater companies to stand behind them. Some of these companies with bigger vehicles are scare mongering the 8-seater limousine owners in to standing behind them.

I am happy to carry 8 passengers ONLY?

I hope one day all limousines are made to carry 8 ONLY for safety reasons.

Why should compaines running larger vehicles be treated different, to the smaller ones. So many run as they please or run under S6 rule.
what will the next loop hole be I wonder ? Still companies will spend thousands of pounds trying to use the back door method.
It will be interesting to see what happens when the S-6 is closed. [-o<

I hope this meets with your approval kermit and you may now look at the real issues.
Limo man

What the FFFFing differnce , its still the driver being paid, = hire & reward..

If you don't know then you might as well give up now.

I can't see any sensible person 'employing' someone on that short a contract.

Will they pay their national insurance? Will they register them with the inland revenue as an employee? Will they keep his P45?

TBH I think it's easier to get around licensing than employment law.

Would it be possible for someone to post up on here a copy of a contract used by the schedule 6 mob which they believe makes them legal?

Please? [-o<

People, this is a very interesting issue, so could we all please try and keep this thread civil?

If you want to have a fight, then please go and join in with one of the Edinburgh threads. :D

With respect Mr S why on earth would any of these schedule 6 people post that on an open forum, they have paid lots of £'s to be privvy to this sort of information and we all know that this forum only wants to try and hand a prosecution to the powers that be for one of these users, and you expect them to hand it to you on a plate, if you want to see these ops in court then you will have to try harder than that im afraid! At least Dick Turpin wore a mask :D

Mr Limo man, many thanks for the friendly advice but i can assure you i have done nothing but look at the real issue since day one of being a member of this forum, and believe it or not i welcome the debate, i just dont understand it when the same question which has been answered many times keeps being asked, i hope this clarifies my position somewhat :D

I think it's fair to say that most hummers aren't operating the schedule 6 lark. Now I think even that's a scam, but clearly some of the hummer big boys don't.

Now if I knew a way to get most of the hummers working legally then I would shout it from the roof-tops for all to hear, and wouldn't give a flying f*** if it was copied. In fact I would be honoured if they did follow suit and became legit.

TBH I think the so-called good guys, who keep their own little secrets, are complicit in any illegal activity done by the bad guys. As they could stop it.

The other reason I would love to see it is because I want to have a bloody good laugh.

First one in court is going to have to produce it.

So if I spend thousands of pounds to make my business legal you think I should just give this information to my competition for nothing.
