IT'S HARDLY ROCKET SCIENCE NOW IS IT.

What gives you the right to trade within the hire and reward industry unlicensed?

Criminals, the lot of you that are trading unlicensed. END OF.

Then you get the odd one that says "but my council won't licence me"

WELL TUFF, FIND SOMETHING ELSE TO DO.
Or find another council who will :!:

no one has a right to run a limo or any hire & reward vechile.

If you cant meet the regs go and be a traffic warden or something..

Well not without a license at any rate.

The problem is, that the enforcement of illegal hire or reward activity is lamentable, whereas the two industries you mention are policed quite Vigorously.

Grandad /Kermit , what I find hard to believe is that you two are quite happy to commit industrial suicide. You both run legal 8 seat limos, anyone with a good business sense would distance themselves and all the other 8 seat legal boys and disown the self drive mob.
. Do yourself and all the other 8 seat legal limos boys a favour and distance your part of your industry away from this shady part of the industry. They will And have brought a bad name to you all. Most of the 8 seat limo boys worked hard to get licensed, and want to show they do the job properly. The support you throw at the self drive hire scam throws all their good work away.

Who do you think started the 8 seater boys getting licensed ???????

Most 8 seater ops are relatively new to the industry!

Strange how you have a go constantly about us finding ways to operate LEGALLY yet its advocated on here to license in LA,s 200 miles away if you have a problem locally, as quoted recently"this is not within the SPIRIT of the law" but is ok because its LEGAL.

Talk about Hypocrits!!!!!!!!!

Limousine firms that stretch the rules to be driven out of business

Darren Roberts, who has run Peak Limousine in the Midlands for ten years, blames the smaller operators entering the market with just one or two cars. "It is very rare that there's a problem with the established companies. The smaller guys don't respect the law closely enough," he said

Its the smaller operators who are doing it right and the established companies that are trying to avoid and change the law as it stands,I think you will find.

Interesting question, who did and when and where?

Have you decided to enlighten us who this mystery person is who phoned the DfT and was sent packing with a flea in their ear, or shall it remain a mystery like these concealed limo contracts?

I was wondering Mr S6, if you could persuade your colleagues to be a little more forthcoming and publish their terms of contract on their websites, just so we the public can see exactly what we are letting ourselves in for when we hire a limo?

I suppose thats a bridge too far for you is it?

By the way, how many archetypes of contractual relationships involving three parties do you know of? Would I be correct in saying "None"?

Regards

JD

12 years in this industry does!

4 years of working closely with VOSA etc.

More respect from most ops in this industry than you,ll ever know!

1000,s of hour spent developing legislation with officials (for free) helping ops sort out problems with their LA,s .......advising many LA licensing officers, ask around you,ll see!

And just for the facts......im still a pale shadow compared to Bill bowling who has done more than anyone else!

So they took their councils to court all on their own with no advise did they ??

As usual No tips your full of P*ss and wind ,ignorant of everything except your own miserable and frustrated existence.

It fascinates me how you never ever get involved in a Taxi posts just limos , me thinks you are not a taxi driver at all but a sad lil man known very well to myself who worked against S6 from the very start and then eventually after months of trying to cause trouble actually found out the true facts and then began to SELL S6 vehicles.

You really are a man of morals are,nt you!

Can't answer the Q, so get personal.

Your a disgrace to your industry Mr S6.
