I never said your accusation was wrong, I merely asked you to supply evidence that it was right. We have no way of knowing what the situation is and nor do we really care. What anyone does in respect of plates in restricted authorities is entirely up to them.

I haven't read any comments elsewhere attributed to the Salteri's but I can fully understand both Jim and Garry's position. On our part TDO offers what limited talent it has free of charge and we are quite happy to get satisfaction from the results we obtain. I suppose that puts to bed any misunderstanding people might have on how we operate. If TDO can offer assistance or advice then it will glady do so. It doesn't matter who or what they represent if we can help then we will, Simple as that.

Fact - Edinburgh plates are being sold for profits of tens of thousands of pounds.

Opinion - the Salteris are better at profiteering then other Edinburgh plateholders.

Some one threw himself off the North Bridge this afternoon. Apparently he went through the glass roof and fell onto a false ceiling. It seems he survived.

I know one guy who owns 9 cabs and doesn’t have a taxi license.

The whole point is everyone sees the system from an angle that is to their benefit. You might not agree with another person’s point of view but everyone is playing by the rules - until it’s decided otherwise in a court of law.

If someone ends up with a nightmare to pay off then the system has changed – nothing more nothing less. De-restriction has been on the cards for the last two years.

I would also make the point that it was inevitable that the plate system had to cave in under its own weight.

Whats it about? I had a glance through and apart from a few editorials it looked like a clone of the TDO news section.

I suppose the other clone will be out in the next few days so we can read our old news all over again.
