On many trips to Europe I have never heard of, or seen any PH, If they dont allow them why do we have to have them here.
It would be best if the Government decided that taxis and only taxis could operate

When I was last in Spain the 'taxis' booked by the hotel for me were not taxis.

Quite what they were is another thing. But the cars were smart, as were the drivers, and they were cheaper.

Which means they must have been PH. :D

I think they would have belonged to the hotel, or airline, or you where still to pie eyed to notice :lol: :lol: :lol:

You would'nt. All the drivers are here, some are killing people down in Plymouth. Mind you, as most of them originate from area's where genocide was a hobby, will it surprise anyone when they start over here?

Somebody told me a few months ago that a PH operator in peterborough has taken on quite a few Albanian drivers and in between jobs they sit in the office bragging about how many people they murdered back in albania :-o :shock:

you dont see black cabs in Europe either. are we the only suckers that use them?

well its the last vestige of the once proud british car building industry if unions won't support british manufacturers who will ?

France has 'ambulance' cars in towns outside the big cities.

They are run by private ambulance companies and locals can ring them.

The hacks all seem to belong to circuits.
