Claude it looks like you have got a new friend, you know the one who barred you from TTF2.

Also it seems the London list have that same friend, remember the saying " London cab drivers, I [edited by admin] them".

Also didn't one of you boys fleece his mates mum/sister/daughter/wife/girlfriend, depending on which fable you believed?

I don't think it's quite got through old thick head Nigel's skull, that Ged knows John, but doesn't know me. So if I'm John, then Ged can't be Ged, or perhaps Ged is me, or me Ged. I also think the Captain knows John, so is the Captain me, or is he Ged, maybe the Captain is John, who really is me. But I'm (according to old thick head) also Dusty, but hang on, he is Tom.

I could go on forever describing the world according to Nigel, but I've got to go back to my solicitors office.

The funny thing about all this, is the only person who believes Nigel, is the idiot from the London site.

Called me a 'faceless icon' if you please. :D :D

How on earth will I sleep tonight now? :?

It seems quite logical and relevent that greater disbelief be apportioned to someone who cannot show thier true colors and insist on hiding behind "faceless icons" ...I have always been brought up to believe someone with something to hide is untrustworthy.

And getting frightened too...I understand you have thrown Andy off the membership?

Yes "Faceless icon" is about right! :D

I couldn't care less what anyone calls me on here, but when someone calls you for remaining anonymous, from a closed taxi forum, I think the word hypocrite springs to mind.
The whole reason the London forum is closed, is so they can debate freely, and not be chastised by the powers that be, or the London Cab circuits.

But that anonymity is deemed to be fine. As I said hypocrisy springs to mind.

As for you being taken off TDO, well this is an open list, so really nobody can be taken off, not even you.

He has seen the light. I caught up with him on the Damascus Road. He heard my voice and repented all his past sins.

You can also repent my son. It would take you about three years to come over but no matter I would welcome you to proper taxi driving.

I don't think I'm the repenting kind, but when and if the PCO brings in a quickie knowledge, well I just might come up and join you.

Well the government hasn't responded yet Claude, but if they leave you chaps alone, but give me my taxi plate, well I can live with that.

Because that's all I want, just to be treated like a taxi driver in London, or a taxi driver in Mansfield, or even a taxi driver in Canterbury, by simply being able to plate my own taxi.

Alas, the odd one or two in those areas, seem fit to want to deny me the opportunity that they have.

I do not know about Mansfield, but London and Canterbury would be pleased to issue you a badge and a plate if you could take the time and trouble to fufil the entry requirements...but therin lies the problem methinks, if its not handed out on a plate or snatched then some amongst us cannot be bothered can we?

Well my little flower, I am surprised. Kettles and pots are in abundance right now!
It is quite clear from your comments that you have a presence on the UK Taxi discussion list. http://www.taxitalk.org.uk which, as you know full well I am moderator. Also as a matter of interest, it is not the London list membership is open to any Hackney driver in the UK after they furnish a few details, this relies to a certain extent on personal honesty. Now to be accepted on our closed list means you had to tell me a few downright lies. All of this to remain as a voyeuristic parasite, feeding in the knowledge of others and then crowing about it on here where again you are an anonymous entity Faceless Icon. This is your description, it is factual you may not like it but that's life Sunshine! So aggrieved at this reporting of factual evidence, your ego bruised you decided to abuse your administrative power and wipe me from the registered members section on a whim. How on earth can anyone give any credibility to you opinions under this sort of umbrella I agree, it is easy to forget in the heat of debate but here you are, a faceless icon rubbishing anything Hackney or London that comes along. Hypocrisy? Hmmmmmm?

I came on the group because the title was Taxi, but fully realising that there was a balanced LPH membership too. Believe it or not, as is your choice, in my Manor we do not have a problem between the two both keep to their own rules and there is harmonious co-existence. Something I thought you to be encouraging here and something I would like to see throughout the UK but so far, all I have seen is a crowing goading not long now. Private Hire driver seeking entry to the superior Hackney trade with sod all effort sorry, but life ain't like that! I think also that you are beginning to realise the OFT report will not be your salvation either yes, after the result you would be well advised to keep your head down low! :O)

It is of no consequence, for as you rightly say, your list is open to guests. As a matter of interest, I tried to unsubscribe myself from the registered members last night.there was no facility available to do this? Perhaps a few others have tried this mind you it does ensure numbers never go down for the prospective advertisers I suppose.

Also now, in respect of you calling me an idiot, well, I have to say that most friends and colleagues have told me I am nowhere near as stupid as I look So there!!

Kindest Regards

Andy

What a lark. Remember how you used to say how the OFT were going to sort London out and open the gates up. "No more Novelty Rock Emporium to Candy Floss stand for me" thought old Suspect.

He has nice warm hands to Sussex, forgive me father for I have sinned, I once called London cabbies soft but since seeing them in a different light I must ask permission to come over to the other side and repent my sins. These drivers are the best in the country, polite, courteous and downright helpful, nothing is to much trouble for them, "cheap to", we had several journeys in a London cab and the top fare was £6, me going down the Damascus Road said here's a Tenner guv keep the change 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8)

For the record, where I work it's the same criteria to become a HC driver, as a PH driver. So that's that myth out of the window.

However I'm interested to find out what you mean by handed a plate, or snatched.

I can work out the handed a plate bit, that's what happens in your manor, Nigel's manor, and in London.

But snatched. :? :? :? :? :?

Clearly you support it there, because you have benefited by not having to pay tens of thousands, but you don't want others to be afforded the same opportunity.

As I said, do as I say, not as I do.

When you mention pot and kettle, you confirm my point.

Anyone who can berate someone for being anon, when they vet the members of their site, is a hypocrite.

Why do you vet, is it because you want to be able to freely express your views, without having to worry too much if it offends a certain section of the trade?

Well if it is, then that's why the name Sussex Man appears as the author.

Well I'm pleased in your area PH and HC get on, it may come as a big shock to you, but that happens thoughout the country.

My point about rubbishing some of the crap spewed from certain sections of the trade, is shared by many. However if people believe I spew out rubbish, I can think of no better place to point out my errors, than on TDO.

Will the OFT be my salvation, well we should find out in 24 hours.
