I'm not sure the stealing of the docs was the issue, it was the response to the request to acknowledge the docs he reposted on his site under his name.

Not content with that he then started to make some of the thread look a tad daft by editing out the words. Which made those thread almost impossible to follow.

But he wanted to go, he is gone, so I can't see what's the problem.

If it's "taxis" then I'm sorry, he has behaved like a complete tit.

    1. He acted dishonestly by "borrowing" site content and passing it off as his own.
    2. He further acted dishonestly by denying he had done it and refusing to acknowledge the source.
    3. He then made himself look childish by his "I'm not playing anymore" attitude and trying to delete all of his posts.

I support TDO's actions on this. If you really are his friend GA, you should phone him and tell him to grow up. Attempting to defend his behavior just makes you look silly as well.

As for deleting posts in general, I think that's a subject for another thread as it detracts from this one.

You only have the version of events as explained to you by the admin of this site Gusmac.

There is more ............ and I'm led to believe a lot more to this whole saga than is posted on the pages of this forum.

The admin are doing their normal trick of personally berating people who dare to question their actions.

Unfortunatly I'm unable to get the "taxis" version until Monday evening ................. at that point I will consider my own contributions to this site, and will post accordingly.

All I want to know is .................... what else other than the links is TDO suggesting "taxis" "stole"?

B. Lucky :D

I see you are talking through your backside again and about something you know nothing whatsoever about.

For your information TDO doesn't link to any of those documents they are hosted on the TDO server. If your buddy had done his own leg work instead of stealing content specifically formated by me for TDO then we wouldn't be having this discussion. If your buddy hadn't decided to take it upon himself to delete all his posts then likewise we wouldn't be having this discussion.

Me asking him to acknowledge the source of the documents he stole and also altered and passed of as his own, has nothing whatsoever to do with him being suspended, banned or whatever? His account has been deactivated because he proceeded to delete all his posts and If I hadn't had stopped him he would have succeeded. So his deactivation has nothing whatsoever to do with the documents he stole and altered but has everything to do with him trying to delete "all" his posts.

You him and everyone else are quite at liberty to go and search the Internet for any one of those four documents but you won't find any of them in the format specifically created by me, in fact you will be lucky to even find the 1985 Transport act in electronic format, except in perhaps maybe one place but you most definitely will not find the TDO formatted version which specifically defines and accentuates the relevant Taxi sections and makes a point of highlighting section 30 on buses plying for hire?

We also don't expect people to remove signatures and pass it off as their own work by inserting the words "downloaded from Gills Taxis".

Your friend said he had those four documents emailed to him by someone on TDO but its rather obvious that you didn't send them so who did? His excuse makes rather curious reading when you contemplate the fact that he also copied the TDO links page. He manually copied one yet he says he was sent the other I don't believe that for one minute and neither does anyone else except you perhaps?

Now lets get one thing straight, anyone embarking on a crusade to delete all their posts in order to disrupt this forum will have their account disabled. Your buddy is a victim of his own actions and he only has himself to blame.

Regards

JD

I supose it depends on a persons resourses or technical knowledge.

Any word from you on the subject of threatening members via Personal Message then JD.

If you have such a message then post it, or would you prefer to doctor your own?

Well the facitlity has been disabled for mr taxis. :D

It should be obvious that the facilty is there to allow people to make reasonable amendments, not to undertake wholescale deletions when people take the huff - why would the facility be left in place if it was for the latter?

Mr taxis abused the facitlity, thus it has been removed.

By the way, no recourse was made to the database for post reinstatement - I understand that was done via other people's quotes.

But it's a good idea GA, we might make use of that yet :D

TDO any chance of being able to post pics and other stuff direct to the site without going around the house to post it :?: :?:

As for deleting posts in general, I think that's a subject for another thread as it detracts from this one.

Having had time to think about this it has occured to me that "taxis" should at least be allowed to respond himself. We haven't heard his side "from the horses mouth" and as his account is deactivated, we can't. In all fairness, he should have the right to reply.
If TDO is concerned that he will delete his posts, would he be allowed to post under another username?

That's a valid point, and I expect anyone can re-register to apologise.

I have spoken to "taxis".

I was not aware that JD had written the 1847 Act.

I was not aware that www.taxi-driver.co.uk held the copyright on publishing links to other websites.

I was though, aware that JD had contacted at least 2 councils claiming to be speaking on behalf of Mr **** ********* (alias "taxis") when he did not have the authorisation to do so from the member known to us as "taxis".

Now everyone should be aware that "taxis" was baned for having a link to the 1847 Act and a links page that contained links to some of the companies TDO has.

JD accused him of stealing content .................. he advised he was sent that information in the format he'd published on his website by a third party. JD then suggested that "taxis" should be grateful for the help he had given him for free ............. when in reality he had caused more trouble than he had solved.

JD demanded that "taxis" removed certain items from his website ............... "taxis" countered by requesting that all of his contributions to TDO should also be removed, including his membership.

No action was taken by either JD or any of the other admin of TDO so "taxis" decided to remove his own posts.

Of course "taxis" is upset about being banned ................ the petty actions of JD and his continuing threats and allegations have aggrivated this situation.

Read "taxis", still on

Does anyone else on here actually give a toss about why Taxis is no longer on here?

Wrong again but you have a second chance to get your facts right? lol

Wrong again, Mr Taxis had his registration suspended because he tried to delete all his posts and everyone knows that. So once again, try again to get your facts right.

Why do you lie? lol

lol amazing, you do make a rod for your own back?

You do realise that everything you have said is a complete lie. lol

We await the turn of events.
