the more fuel goes up the more drivers are cutting prices on the longer fares with a lot of drivers refusing anything under a £5 when front rank but prepared to do a fare that might meter £20 for £10 or £12

Makes bundles of sense that one. ](*,)

even my drivers think a bit like that they think a cheap £10 fare is better than a £2.50 short fare

Is this the dearest fuel in the country? Anyone paying more than this?

By the time you've done a £10 fare you could have done a load more £2.50 fares round here! So where's the saving? :?

Ordered diesel today and it is 15 pence per litre (plus VAT) more expensive than this time last year.

Spent afternoon emailing account customers saying fares are going up.

Well I filled up at the BP (Boo, hiss etc etc) on the North Circ, Finchley today, for 1.04. It still pays to shop around I guess.

Our BP is at £1.06 for diesel Morrisons is £1.04 still much more than we have been paying

By the way i had another chat with that banker and he says that the weaker the dollar gets the higher the oil price goes up to compensate and it always goes up by more than the amount needed to adjust the differance in the value of the dollar which is why it works back to front

As he's in the Western Isles, I don't think shopping around is an option.
