I have worked every xmas day for the last 14 years although the workload dwindles year on year as more drivers work it. I do it partly for the money and partly because it makes other peoples christmas's
:D
So who else on here works xmas day ?

I might come out for an hour or two.

And no-doubt sleep through most of it.

In the 30 odd years of driving a taxi I have never worked Xmas day.

Although I am sure there is good money to be made it is still a spit in the ocean relative to your years takings.

Guess Xmas means different things to different people, to me it is spending time with family, eating a far to large a dinner and eventually getting bladder'd.

So whether you work or not, I wish you all a very happy Xmas and prosperous new year Image Image

Welcome to a real Taxi forum Mr Hopper.

No bigots on here. We actually discuss and debate real industry issues, opposed to ranting on about the Queen, Backhanders from a car dealer in Scotland and a dead man called Che.

When it's busy on Christmas day, it's very busy. But when it dead, oh boy is it dead.

So I will be working the first few busy hours, and eating and drinking (tea and coke, I'll have you know) for the rest of the day.

Boxing day, now that's a very nice earner thank you. :-$

Thanks for the welcome GBC, forum looks good to me!

But just so there are no miss-understandings, I enjoy using the other site and Tony Mite and I are on very good terms and I think of him as a friend

As for boxing day Sussex, on the lash again for me bud :D
