But would you still be able to get taxi insurance for a modified vehicle ?

Would the council license such a modified vehicle ?

In modern cars where there is zero room under the bonnet where would you put it :roll: ?

If this is the simple environmental solution why aren't car manufacturers selling Models with a similar device already fitted for the environmentally aware market ?

Yes to q 1,
There is always room
because manufactures are tide to the oil barons, but if they decided that they would produce models with this fitted they would charge a premium claiming its a new way to save fuel as not everyone knows about it
