last check (normally I am scared to look ar the cost)it was £1.26.9 for Diesel and £1.16.9 for petrol.

I filled up at the weekend and the cashier handed me my receipt. I asked her where my other bit of paper was and just looked blank, I then explained that I was expecting a share certificate. :mrgreen:

I'm still filling up for £1.13 at the local Shell, still way over the top, but not as bad as £1.27 :shock:

Just had my heating oil tank topped up, 900 litres - £495 thank you very much :cry:

I think it was/is legal to put 10% paraffin in your derv, it stopped it waxing up in the winter.

Try it and see. If customs and excise confiscate your vehicle and crush it, then the answer will be no. :twisted:

Heating oil and red diesel contain chemical markers which customs check for if they suspect these fuels are being used on the road. These fuels are sold strictly for non road use.
