Gordon Brown must be bricking himself. 73 Million wouldn't change a thing, with oil at $117 a barrel. All the tossers out there that believed that a Labour government was going to be on the side of the so called working class was living in a fantasy world. No more Tax and spend? All those lazy, useless can't be bothered to work out there living off what should be your fat. Yes I know Diesel is 75% tax, it's how Brown pays for all those free bus passes.

To stop councils from riping off owners, and drivers there should be a section where all the licence fees are shown for the whole of the UK
There should also be a recommended licence fee level and all drivers should get the badges for 3 years at no extra cost, oporatores should have there's included at no extra cost

Someone has got to start somewhere.

Lilly Savage once sang, sometimes its "hard"...to be a woman.

I agree with skippy's comments, please don't hijack this thread. If you guys want to argue over trivialties then by all means do so but take it somewhere else.

Sorry, JD.

Seriously though, a great idea. I can't think of any particular matters that I have a burning urge to contribute to at present. However, I very much look forward to seeing the first copy. Well done.

It is Uncle Tom Cobley.

Some people have asked me for a sneak preview of what the magazine/Newsletter might look like. It hasn't been decided yet because I've been working on a few options, from simplistic to extravagant. This would include just a plain two colour issue to something a little brighter like the one below.

I have decided to post a preview of a very minute portion of the 30 pages of content that was earmarked for the April launch before I was struck down with a very severe illness.

For obvious reasons the front page is missing but I've thrown together six pages of the 30 I was working on back in late Feb early April before circumstances overtook events.

The format is in draft and has not be been checked for readability or grammatical errors so please don't make any criticisms on that score. The content is now out of date as far as TDO high news standards are concerned needless to say not all of the April content will be discarded.

The format is only one of many that is being considered as i have already said but now I am on the road to recovery I can hopefully have an issue ready for June or at the latest July.

My mistake. I've been making a lot of silly errors lately so you will have to forgive me for the time being.

Try this
