It was on SKY News this morning about the price of a barrel of crude going up to $130 a barrel. Now that is silly money.

Its times like this I wish I was a bus. What we should all do is register under section 12 or is that 10? Of the 1985 act and do our own thing as regards how we operate, just like these buses do and claim the fuel grant.

VOSA cant even catch illegal limos so how the hell are they going to keep tabs on a hundred thousand taxis?

I was only jesting of course so don't take my comments literally. lol

Regards

JD

I was in the petrol station again when the tanker came in i said to the driver just leave you keys in the ignition and go for cup of tea  just say to your boss you were hijacked by some desperate taxi drivers looking for cheap diesel :-o. His reply was the way fuel is going up the tanker drivers are getting worried as they think its only a matter of time before this will happen as its like liquid gold getting, so more trackers are getting fitted to there vehicles. So the oil companies must be getting worried of hijacking.

I wouldn't be surprised. How much fuel does a tanker hold? x £1.15 per litre.

Easier than robbing a bank?

I'm suprised that some of these european lorry drivers that can carry 330 gallons of diesel from europe are not selling the stuff on the black market.

Diesel up to 119.9 here at BP morrisons and the total at 116.9 and they say the price of crude oil is going down

Around here a lot of criminal gangs steal heating oil from remote houses to sell as cheap diesel so i suppose if a tankers contents could fetch £30000 to £40000 on the black market they will start dissapearing soon as well a lot easier than syphoning it out of static tanks

Have a drive down to your local motorway services alot of the eastern bloc drivers are very willing to sell you some cheap diesel, but beware customs will come down on you like a ton of bricks if you get caught doing it
