Who is the NPHA and who do they represent?

Well according to Mr Bryan Rolands they represent no one.

I suppose that speaks for itself.

So why is this outfit embroiled in this meeting of minds exercise if they represent no one?

Why are they sticking their ore into matters that effect the Taxi trade?

Where does the NPHA get its mandate?

Regards

JD

Bryan Roland of the so called National Private hire asociation says all hackney carriage drivers should be licensed as private hire operators if they want to accept private hire bookings.

Who the hell is Bryan Rolands to tell hackney carriage drivers what they should and shouldn't do?

Mr Rolands wants to keep his nose out of the affairs of hackney carriage drivers just as hackney carriage drivers should keep their nose out of the affairs of private hire drivers.

Regards

JD

I think anyone asking for hackney carriages to all have operator licenses is asking for trouble.

I also think anyone asking for private hire operators to have national carte-blanch is also asking for trouble.

We need rules in place to raise national standards, not rules in place to reward the sheds.

I found out a long time ago that you don't have to be a member to get as much free advice as you want so there is little point being a member and some of their member firms are all hackney

I think the problem is that he has ranted on about so many subjects he's running out of things to shout about. He does have his uses and some of the info contained in his mag is very useful and free just remember he gets a few things wrong as well as the things he gets right
