Jim you think I care what you and everyone you have spoken to think of me, do you think I give a flying you know what about anyone of you, I don't.

To be honest Jim I've had a long day and I can't be bothered with your political psychosis at the moment, why your speaking to me about the smoking ban is quite bizarre really, have you had the old eletrodes on or something, have they made you forget.

Now once again you try and round on me without even understanding the argument, your neurosis plain for all to see.

Is there anyone or anything in this World that isn't fascist, The Council,The old Council, The Government, The Scottish Government, The Cab Inspector, and I dare say everything in between, I think your needles stuck in your own groove.

Oh, and by the way Jim you and everyone else better mind their own business, what I do, how I do it and why I do it is my concern and mines alone.

Gusmac I'll try and explain this to you, see if you can grasp the rather simple idea.

At no point in this have I stated that the Air quality problems should be used as either a reason to control numbers of vehicles or to retain that number, I did however state that to meet the targets the Euro IV spec was the option chosen by the Council whilst they were performing their statutory duty.

Now let us not forget that it is really the huge amount of vehicles of all sorts that are causing these problems, a bus may cause more pollution than a car but there may be nearly one hundred people on it.

The car often has only one.

Jim, it's your turn now, at no point did I say that this was to do with global warming or CO2, I did however say that it was specifically Nitrigen Dioxide levels in the air quality management area, which is quite small in Edinburgh.

Anyway it's a fact that the taxi trade in Edinburgh is going to remain restricted for some time yet, as I said one dimensional arguments based on rubbish.

One trick ponies you lot eh!

One thing I notice is that you always underestimate your opponents, you underestimate others resourcefulness and most importantly their determination to succeed. 8)

I accomplished what I set out to do and I done it by working for it, it took a little longer than I would have liked but it's hard going sometimes, but the proofs sitting there now, and no Gusmac there is no 50k for us to worry about.

Some of you really have to learn to manage your money better, I never used the equity from my property to live the good life, no frivolous use of credit to live beyond my means. 8)

So I now own my own taxi and plate and you call me stupid and everyone you talk to agrees of course! the fact is Jim I won and I done it for myself, not for you and not for anyone else.

Please keep up to date with the situation Sussex,Ali T and Mr Salteri won there plates on a technicality along with the other three, now as far as i am aware only one of the five have, and drive their own taxi.Ali T has just sold his plate i believe so good luck to him,it's just a shame all the bleating about his high morals he said he had went out the window. So as far as i am aware the council do still restrict the numbers, there is no de-regulation and yes the dynamic duds and the others who have their applications in, may or may not get a plate, but i will guarantee you this,if they do get a plate you will hear soon after that they have sold them on.As i say this whole saga is "for their own personal gain".

Gee Ali, methinks you're arguing for the status quo. Seems you'd prefer to keep paying £1205 and getting 50 big ones back.

You've sold out haven't you? You're about protecting your money making scam aren't you

I'm going to sell out too.

Let's hear it for the status quo. Down with de-restriction. Give me 50 big ones

It's a bit like Nick in It's a Wonderful Life repeatedly ringing the till bell and announcing he was handing out angel's wings.

Photocopying would work. Just leave the bit for the LLp blank, cos you need a new LLP for each one.

Probably best to sign thm individually too
